Leagues Cup
Starting on Saturday, October 28 and running through to November 12, the first round of MLS 2023 kicks off with the Leagues Cup. Here is the playoff schedule:
The 2023 playoffs will start with the Wild Card round where the eighth and ninth seeds from each conference will face off in a single-elimination match. The winners of those matches will advance to the Round of 16, where they will join the top seven seeds from each conference. The Round of 16 will also be a single-elimination match.
The quarterfinals and semifinals will be two-leg matches, with the winners of each semifinal advancing to the MLS Cup Final. The MLS Cup Final will be a single-elimination match.
The winner of the Leagues Cup will earn a berth in the 2024 CONCACAF Champions League.
